 1.    How much do the certification tests cost?

    • Registered Test: $150.00
    • Certified/Master Certified Technician Test: $325.00
Note: There is no financial assistance available for certification testing.

2.    How does test registration and scheduling work?

To register, each technician must fill out and submit the appropriate application and complete the listed sign-off sheets associated with your selected test. Once the completed application and payment are received and processed, you will receive instructions by e-mail on how to schedule your test on-line.

3.    Can I cancel a test?

Cancellation/Refund Policy:  Online testing cancellations received within 3 days of payment processing will be issued a refund less a $30 administrative fee. Cancellations received 4-7 days after payment processing will be issued a refund less a $75 administrative fee. Cancellations beyond 7 days of payment processing will not be issued a refund. Written test cancellations received 30 days prior to test date will receive a refund less $30 administrative fee; 15-30 days prior to test date, refund less $75; less than 15 days prior to test, no refundPlease contact the certification registrar at 703-591-7130 ext. 102.

4.    What if I miss my deadline?

Each test has an expiration date. If your expiration date has passed, you will not be able to access your test. Please contact the certification registrar at 703-591-7130 ext. 102.
